An Ode to the end of Winter

Dear Winter......

......Here are a few wintery photos of mine to bid farewell to you.

As beautiful as you may be, especially when you cover everything with a blanket of white snow, five months of you are quite enough.

I now kindly ask you to please take your leave, making way for spring to enter.

Please, dear winter, don't be offended by my request. I'll be delighted to see you here again around next November, but for now I want to be able to smell the scent of spring in the air, hear the chirping of the birds and I want to bury my winter jacket in the back of my cupboard!!!
